Designer Notes

Fire Agate and Pearls with Sterling Silver. Fire Agate is one of my favourite gemstones. I just love the different colours and patterns in each stone.

Freshwater Pearls go with everything. They can be both smart or casual. I love all the different shapes and hues they come in.

Although I have a passion for all of the different types of gemstones, freshwater pearls are probably my favourite to work with, particularly when I can combine them with beautiful gemstones to create individual stunning pieces. Freshwater pearls have a feel of luxury about them at an affordable price. I also love to work with Swarovski crystals and pearls. Swarovski are famous for high quality and their crystals sparkle and glimmer as they catch the light due to their precision cut facets. Swarovski pearls are a perfect replica of genuine pearls. Made of a unique crystal core covered with an innovative pearl coating, these pearls possess a flawless, silky smooth surface.

Most of the necklaces have either a bracelet or earrings to match to enable you to coordinate your jewellery with ease. If you are unable to find a coordinating piece contact us and we may be able to design a piece to complete the look.
Each piece is designed to feel good and to drape beautifully with lots of attention to detail and colour combinations. All are finished to a very high standard with wire guardians on the clasp to prolong the life of the piece and crimp covers to give a very professional finish both of which are sterling silver. These beautiful pieces are sure to enhance any outfit whether it is smart or casual, evening wear or special occasion.
I know how hard it can be from a picture to imagine how a piece of jewellery might look like on so I have tried to give some guidelines on necklace styles and their classic lengths together with bracelet sizing.
I have also described the many different ways to wear a lariat as this is an increasingly popular style to both dress up and dress down. Lariats are just so versatile they can be easily worn to suit whatever outfit you are wearing.
Colin and I started our whole journey of jewellery designing after seeing the Jack Nicholson/Diane Keaton movie “Something’s Gotta Give”. Diane Keaton wore a beautiful black lariat in one scene which became an instant obsession for both of us to create our own variations. One of my designs was definitely inspired by this lariat. It is so easy to wear, it has no clasp and you just pull one end through the loop and adjust the length to suit the neckline of your outfit.
A lovely variation on the classic rope is one of my personal favourites, the split pearl rope. These necklaces are seriously long which means you can create a look equivalent to wearing three necklaces as layers. They look equally as nice worn as a double strand too, also giving you a long layered look. Once again the joy is in its versatility and its ability to suit your style for the day.
